I had David do radon mitigation many years ago in my then home, and called on him again, without hesitation, when I discovered high radon levels in my current home. Once again, he was extremely knowledgeable and professional in his service. He explained as he worked, so that I knew what I didn't know even to ask. The piping was run through the back of the garage roof, so that it is hardly visible. A meter was left after the work completion to check the levels to show the radon had been reduced to acceptable levels. I will continue to recommend David to anyone who needs radon mitigation. He does the job right. No shortcuts in materials or work to reduce the radon.
Central Kentucky Radon is the best. We had a difficult remediation project because our basement is fully finished. One company told me that the project could not be done unless I also worked with a remodeling contractor to repair drywall and woodwork that would have to be cut/removed. CKR completed the project without any drywall or woodwork damage. The exterior paint was hidden behind our chimney and painted to blend with the brick. The job was completed expertly, quickly and with no mess. Most importantly, the radon level in our house has been reduced to a safe level. I highly recommend CKR.
This is my second radon mitigation job done my David McLean recently. David is very experienced and knowledgeable about radon. He and his employees have home builder backgrounds. David was also a home inspector for years. I had 4 estimates for my latest radon mitigation job. Some wanted to to start the piping inside the living area of the house and run it outside and up the outer brick wall. This is very unsightly to me. David ran the piping from inside the garage to under the slab of the living area, up through the attic and out the roof. He painted the pipe to match the color of the shingles so it is not obvious. The quiet fan is in the attic. He was also the least expensive of all the estimates.
I highly recommend him for radon mitigation jobs.
