Harrison Memorial Hospital

My father was admitted on Dec 2, 2022, with the flu and pneumonia. Within one hour of admission he was on a vent and had a balloon cath done. He remained on the vent four days total and in the hospital 8 additional days.
His care was excellent in all respects. Every staff member inquired if our family needed anything and offered their assistance. This included Dr's, nurses, aids, PT, Speech, RT, Lab and even house keeping. They all worked as a team. It was refreshing to see so many professionals doing their jobs and working together for the patient.
One thing is certain, my father would not have made it to Lexington. I'd like to thank everyone involved in his care and to those who had the foresight to bring specialized care to HMH.
This hospital is a blessing to this community. Sometimes we forget the incredible jobs that are done there each day. Many times long waits when we feel bad blinds us to the exceptional care that is provided.
As a previous employee it is wonderful to see how HMH has grown . Thank you seems so inadequate for the life saving measures you provided for my father. But please know it is heart felt and with your care and God's grace I got a Christmas miracle. Blessing to all at HMH.

My fiance and I just had our baby here. He was 3 weeks early because her fluid dried up but but baby boy was healthy and almost full term. They had us come in and did everything to get her fluid back up and help her have a vaginal birth. We ended up having to have a last minute c section but they took really good care of us. My only complain is one of the night nurses is extremely rude and made us feel like we were doing everything wrong despite every other nurse and Dr Moore saying were doing great and our baby was fine. Besides the one nurse we are happy with their service. The nurses name is Ashley just in case.
