I’ve been a member of Antioch for ten years. A lot has changed over the years as I’ve seen the Lord grow and mature Antioch, and the most important things have remained consistent: the heart for our community (both within and outside of our walls), faithful preaching of the Word, humbly seeking the Lord, and concern with/care for the well-being of Antioch members. I’m truly blessed to be part of this church family.
My family found Antioch during a difficult time of transition in our lives. The first Sunday we visited, we were spoken to by nearly half of the church and invited to attend family groups by every leader. We have felt like family every since. This church acts and conducts itself as the body of Christ should, by being real with each other, sharing others' burdens, and not trying to be flashier than they are. If you are looking to grow in the Word, take part in purposeful community, and see the nations impacted, you need to check out Antioch.
My family has been attending Antioch for nearly 10 years now. We have historically had a difficult time finding a church body that was genuine, biblically solid, and consistently caring about our needs as real people and not as though we are merely an audience. Church is not meant to be perfect because we, the people who make up the church, are not. I love that Antioch is rooted in this idea of realistically walking through the ebbs and flows of life with those who are part of the body. We are blessed to grow in maturity alongside this imperfect group of people who seek Christ's likeness and seek to help each other to that end.
