Worked with Ratterman and Sons Funeral after the passing of my mother. Alex made the process easy for me to understand and got the ball rolling with all the necessary legal steps as well. Everything was very organized from the beginning of the process. I couldn’t have asked for a better celebration of life held for my mother. I would definitely recommend Ratterman and Sons!!
Ratterman and Sons did a wonderful job handling every aspect of the funeral for my mother. The staff was caring and professional. Going through the death of a loved one is hard, but they guided us through every detail and made the process so much easier. Recommend highly.
I really appreciate everything Alex and his team did for my family to help us get through our loss and make sure we were taken care of. Very compassionate and professional. They made us feel like family and seemed to grieve along with us. They all really went above and beyond anything that I could have expected.
Everyone at Rattermans was very helpful and understanding through the whole process. They made sure we were pleased with every aspect - flower placement, personal memorabilia, hair style etc. Made us feel very comfortable. They were always available during visitation if anything was needed. Day of the funeral we felt like we truly had someone right there with us who cared and to guide us along. Definitely made a bad day better.
I needed a director who had experience with handling arrangements for my uncle, who was a Catholic priest. Although I’ve been responsible for arrangements of other loved ones, none of them were a priest or had particularly unique needs. While my uncle was in palliative care, I needed to start the planning process, as I didn’t know the special planning that may be involved. A church acquaintance suggested I talk to Ratterman, specifically this location, and request David Hartley. He was undoubtedly the best director I’ve ever worked with. He helped me think of things I had no idea to think of, and made the process as easy as possible. My uncle had become very thin, so I provided David photos of my uncle during his healthier days. They prepared him perfectly. Karen helped me with the photos I’d brought for the digital photo album, and did an excellent job scanning them in the order I had organized them. They were patient, supportive and most helpful. It honestly couldn’t have gone better. They helped take a lot of the pressure I was feeling off of me. I’d highly recommend them.
