It has a nice, avaince! Cozy atmosphere, nice German music, & excellent servers! It's a unique experience that will take you back to a much simpler, time.

The food is well prepared and my order was filled when I returned to my table to freshen-up. The waitress was very kind & attentive! She checked on me a number of times to make sure I was satisfied with my meal & the service.

I eat here often & have never had a bad experience. I highly recommend Gasthaus German Restaurant!😋

can not say enough good things about this cute little place! Food and service was perfect. Highly recommend the schnitzel and DO NOT SKIP DESSERT!! We took 2 desserts home as we were too full to eat them there, and they were amazing. 10/10 will eat there again!

My wife and I first tried Gasthaus about 5 years ago on a recommendation from a friend and have been hooked ever since. It’s honestly the best restaurant in Louisville hands down. The food is absolutely amazing, the owners/staff are just as amazing. There’s a reason they have been in business since 1993, high quality across the board! If you like hearty, fresh, generous portions, you won’t be disappointed. Save room for desserts, they are out of this world!

The atmosphere is so fun. We had a really great meal!! I'm not big on dessert but I won't go there and not have something! So good! And the staff was so knowledgeable and accommodating.
