Cadence Academy Preschool

We absolutely LOVE Cadence! From day 1 we felt comfortable & confident with staff/teachers looking after our little one. He’s learned so much and they do such a great job at keeping parents in the loop (my favorite is the pictures I get of him playing every day). Couldn’t pick a better childcare facility for our family!

As a first time mom, deciding on the best daycare for my daughter was a very difficult decision. When touring Cadence, each person I interacted with had a kind and calm demeanor and was willing to answer all of my many questions. My daughter currently attends and her teachers have done the best job helping her transition to daycare. I can tell how much they genuinely care for her, and she has learned so much in her short time there. She has formed a bond with her teachers and has made many friends with the other students in her class. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Ms. Centria, Ms. Whitley, and Ms. Amber. They are so sweet and comforting to my daughter and she always feels safe with them. They are very hands on with the children and nurturing. We love Cadence!

I don't even know where to begin. With all the stories in the news, I was terrified to take my baby girl to daycare. I found Cadence online and someone told me that they heard it was good. I spoke with Denise, the director. She was so sweet and understanding. It took a little time to get in, but she kept me informed and as soon as there was a spot, she let me know.

The first day we walked in and couldn't get past the lobby without a code. All the kids have to be signed in on the iPad then type a code in the door to go back to the classes. The director's door is right by the front door so she sees who comes in and out. I felt much more secure about who was going to be able to get in. We were greeted as soon as we entered with smiles.

When we walked down the hall, everything was so clean. There was children's artwork hanging on the walls. Everything was so well lit and decorated nicely. Teachers were in their classes with their kids, which you could see through the windows or if their kids weren't there they had their doors open and they were greeting others as they walked in. Everyone was so friendly.

Now, we get to the infant room. This is where the magic happens! Mrs. Jennie is the Grandma that everyone wants! She is the most amazing infant teacher. My daughter instantly loved her. She is the most caring, comforting, sweet woman I have ever met. She treats each baby in that room as if they are her babies. My daughter reaches for her in the mornings when we get there. She is so excited to see Mrs. Jennie. I hate being away from her so long during the day, but I feel good when I leave her at Cadence. I know that she will be taken good care of. I know that she will get love and attention. She will get to play with her little friends, and learn new things. Best of all, I know that my girl will be safe.

If you are looking for a great daycare and peace of mind, this is the place to go. I am sure you will not find a better place.

The team at Cadence Academy has been a wonderful daycare and preschool for our family. Our son has attended the 8715 Bardstown Rd location since he is 2.5 years old. Initially it was challenging to get a spot, and we had to repeatedly contact the school and be patient. It was well worth the wait. All staff is kind and diligent and it is obvious to me as a parent that everyone is passionate about teaching and caring for children. My son loves his teachers and staff, enjoys going to school and is happily playing in the classroom when we pick him up. Teachers are diligent to intersperse teaching and play time, kids go outside when weather permits, my son always has sunscreen applied when needed and nap times are scheduled. Nevertheless, they are also flexible to adjust to individual kids. My son is no longer a good napper at 5 years old, and his teacher adjusted the posters near his rest/nap area in the room, so he could study them while quietly resting. He is interested in science and she made sure to rearrange the science posters for him. There has been a turnover of teachers in one my son's classrooms, which can happen, but he always was well taken care of. He loved being in Ms Alica and Ms Diane's room as a 3 year old, and adores Mrs Christina in the Preschool room. The kind child lessons are wonderful and very enriching, and the Pre-K program has allowed for my son to be kindergarten ready well ahead of starting in the fall. The Covid shutdown period and subsequent process changes were especially taxing, and the staff has always been gracious to all kids and parents. The school's director Ms Denise has done a great job communicating throughout. Director and teachers are always available for a quick chat as needed, which is very helpful as a parent. I could not think of a better school for my child and highly recommend Cadence Academy.

Know one will take care of your child better than you, but those at Cadence Academy do an absolute wonderful job. They truly care for your child and their well being. Being a childcare provider is not an easy job, especially these days, but they come in day in and day out with a smile on their face and I can't thank them enough for taking care of my girls. You won't be regret sending your child to Cadence Academy.
