Everything was excellent. We ordered several different items and all were perfect. Very friendly service. Highly recommend

Friendly staff, fun decor. Prices are rather high for the portion size. Ate the shrimp salad that was advertised to have "a lot" of shrimp for about $10. The plate came with 5 shrimp and nearly a half head of lettuce. Price for 5 more shrimp is almost $6... ate my half head of lettuce and called it a day!

The Pelican is great. Been around for a long time. Great flavorful fried fish; rolled oysters; oyster stew and more. Friendly service. A little pricey (but that's the opinion of this tightwad).

The food here is amazing!!! The service is great. The portion size is great. I have been going to Hungry Pelican / Cape Cotter for 44 years. Their food hasn't changed one bit. It's really stood the test of time well. I strongly encourage everyone to support this local restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

I don't know why this place isn't packed. I ordered clams and they were the lightest melt in your mouth goodness I have ever eaten, I love clams but i have almost quit ordering them because everyone one cooks them so hard and dark that they are rubbery. I was with 2 friends, we had our own dinning room covid related I am sure. My friends ordered fish and onion ring and fries. The fish was light and tasty. Everything we ordered was fried but nothing was greasy. I have never eaten here before but I can guarantee we will be back. Great food great service.
