Al Hamra Halal Mediterranean Buffet

Great place to try Middle Eastern food! The buffet is split into various sections/offerings. Salads(over 5 to choose from), meats: chicken, beef and lamb, rice dishes, lentil, hummus (2 kinds) and egg plant dishes. Pita bread(run it through the toast to warm it up...trust me) and 2-3 desserts including baklava. Everything was fresh, light and filling. The service was outstanding, very friendly and willing to answer questions. Try the spicy cauliflower 😋, it isn't overly spicy, but great flavor. The falafel was great...crunchy outside soft and flavorful interior. We will definitely be going again.

After closing due to the pandemic, the restaurant has reopened and seems to be doing very well. . . The humus is amazing, and the various salads and healthy options are enough to be thankful for. . . In a world of deep fried, and overly processed food, this dinning option won't disappoint. There is a new sign at the counter advising a price increase due to the business experiencing increased expenses. And Lamb will only be served for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. . . But the chicken and tilapia dishes are enough to earn my stamp of approval. . . Go eat and enjoy

I went today at 5:00 pm. The food was outstanding. It's a nice-sized buffet with plenty of offerings. My favorite dishes were the lentil soup, carrots, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, and the baklava. I didn't eat much meat because I really didn't need to, but I sampled some meat dishes and they were very good. I will be back.

We truly enjoyed this place. Our first visit. The manager/owner was very helpful explaining some of the food to me. When he said the spicy chicken was "spicy", he wasn't lying! I m a meat eater, and was happy with the beef and chicken offerings (it was a Friday, so no lamb which is only on the Saturday and Sunday dinner menu). If you're a vegetarian, this would probably be paradise to you. The pricing seems a little steep ($17.50), but at a buffet where all of the food is freshly prepared, I was ok with it. The salads were very fresh, the hummus selection was outstanding, and I was so happy I could make my own gyro! But the real star of the show: the baklava. Oh...my...goodness! I could have just eaten that and been happy! We'll be back!

My family and I were on our way to Tennessee I wanted to find a Halal spot along the way. This restaurant popped up as a buffet that was halal and perfectly in the path to where we were heading towards. We got there around 6:00 p.m. and the place was pretty full and the aroma of the atmosphere was making my stomach roar. The Staff was really nice and did a great job checking up on us if we needed anything. And the food was fresh hot delicious. Price wise I thought the price was actually very well priced for the quality of food you were getting. On the way back from our trip we stopped here again with the rest of our whole family for lunch and they all enjoyed it as well. We were a group of 17 people that went back home to Chicago with our bellies full with good food. If you like your Mediterranean foods this is a very very good place to stop by and give it a shot.
