  I took a new Savage A17 to Pike, to be cut down, threaded and cerakoted. In addition to being well below other gunsmiths prices, he got the job done VERY quickly. After talking a while, I was very impressed with all of his knowledge and even more so, how he learned the trade on older equipment before upgrading to his current, state of the art. I could of stayed all day and talked while I drooled over the custom Glocks he machined for competition, law enforcement, etc. they were truly unique and one of a kind pieces of art. Although far from all he does they definitely caught my eye. Can’t recommend this guy enough!

‏+1 859-948-6631‏. No swirl marks from milling and cerakote is on point. I contacted many places before choosing Mod1 that were cheaper. Could of gotten a lot more cutting option done for what I paid at Mod1 but they sent me their final product pictures and I was not too impressed.
