Impact Battery

Made a delivery to this location in a 53ft semi. I suggest calling ahead so they can inform you how to back in. It looks harder than what it really is. Also the staff on site helped tremendously and are really nice. I deliver to a lot of places but it means something when the owner is actually available to help unload the truck. This place is really for the community.

First I want to start off by saying thank you for having a real live person to answer the phone, Ms. Christine. Second I get Spencer on the phone and he ask me how he can help. I tell him I have a battery from Hell with no numbers on it. I tell him it goes in a Cummins Onan P4500i Inverter generator. I tell him that in the owners manual it tells me that the battery "Replacement" should be a "YT5AL" and the size of the battery. Now I tried for 2 days to find one of these, Walmart, Auto Houses, M/C shops, but seems like they don't really make this one anymore. Then I come across this company, Impact Battery, and Spencer say's... No Problem, he cross reference's the number and comes up with a couple of different batteries. Then we start talking about dimensions.... I'm laughing & crying because no battery comes up with the exact same dimensions. We both agree on a battery with closes dimensions and Spencer ships it to me and tells me if it doesn't fit or it's not right they would even swap it out or take it back at "Their Cost"..... PEOPLE.... this sold me immediately.... Well the battery gets here... I pull it out and my heart sank. It was way taller than my battery, and I was not sure where I went wrong on understanding all the dimensions. I tried to put the battery in and cursed the small space in this Cummins generator for all it was worth. I called and I believe Ms. Christine answered the phone and I immediately asked for Spencer. My heart sank.... she said he wasn't in.... Horrors... am I being jacked around?.. I asked with whom could I discuss a problem with on a battery I received. She stated she would get me with a battery expert. A lady by the name of Ms. Stephanie came on the phone. I was beginning to get worried as I was trying to explain my issue when my phone rang and it was someone from Impact Battery on the phone and that they had gotten disconnected. When I told him I had a Ms. Stephanie on the other line, the gentleman, Mr. Darrin, told me to just hang up that she was standing there and she had accidently answered the wrong line. After Darrin had heard the whole story and we had gone over measurements and looked at things from every angle, Darrin asked me.... If you lay the battery on it's side it would fit, but did I have enough cable length to reach the connections. Well me, having a severe case of "Cranial Rectal Syndrome" I must have made a comment the battery leaking, and Darrin calmly stated.... the battery was a sealed AGM. I felt like a fool. We hung up, I went out, the battery installed, wires hooked up, battery strap fit, generator cranked right up. I just had to tell the world what a fantastic group of individual's this IMPACT BATTERY COMPANY has working for them.... Their number is stored in my phone for the first call for batteries...... I called Impact Battery this morning after struggling online to locate the correct charger for a specific lead acid battery. Finding this charger was key to a sale we had made of our pre-owned pallet jack. They came to the rescue! My call was answered by an actual person who was knowledgeable and helpful beyond expectation. They had a charger in stock that would meet our needs with small modifications, and by the end of the call we had a charger ready to be shipped. Pricing was reasonable and the service extraordinary. Got the battery fast and was surprised at how perfectly it fit into my Suzuki GS 500F. Glad I was able to talk to their company a little on the phone especially Darren, who helped me tremendously. Definitely worth the money and didn't have to wait long at all for the shipping.

Needed a battery for a 1996 motorcycle and ordered one from Impact. They sent me an email the same day indicating the battery was not available but offered me a different battery of higher quality for a discounted price. Provided excellent support and insured I received it as stated. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase through them again.
