(July 29, 2022, 11:01 pm)We attended a performance of the Shakespeare play, Measure for Measure in the Ravine on EKU's campus. As usual, the performing members of the Appalachian Shakespeare Center at EKU put on an enjoyable and professional play. They always add a little something extra to their performances and this year was no different. Some nice sarcastic songs were mixed in with the usual dialogue. The air was cool from a gentle breeze and as it got dark outside, the audience was treated not just to Shakespeare but bats flying and chirping, lightening bugs and several different species of tree frogs serenading.
