We had the best experience here! We have 2 little boys and we stayed at campsite 6 that backed up to the playground below. It was perfect for us to drink our coffee and watch them play every morning in a safe enclosed area. They loved gathering sticks for the fire every morning. The hookups were easy and the checkin was smooth thanks to the help we received backing in and leveling out. We walked down to the marina to a decorative little waterfall and took pictures. The boys loved playing basketball on the nostalgic goal and visiting a few locals along the walk riding their scooters. We were very pleased with the trees and beauty of the campground. Showers, bathroom and laundry were right by our site. Our only con is the sites are pretty close together where we were and our slide went into the space of our neighbor. Other than that we will continue to visit here and make memories with our boys! We rented a double decker boat with a slide from Pandora Marina for a half day and cruised around lake Harrington. Everyone here was super friendly!! We live 1.5 hours away and it was a perfect trip! See you next year!
AWSOME PLACE! This RV Park is very clean and has all of your needs. I stayed there for 5 months and had nothing but excellent experiences. The owners stay on sight and are very accommodating and friendly. Should you want a fun and relaxing stay with your RV, this is the PLACE!
Beautiful place! I’ll be honest it’s a bit out of the way of the city, which is great is you’re looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle. The Wi-Fi also isn’t great, but it makes up in the beauty of the scenery. They have an awesome playground for the kids, my 2 year old loved it! They also have a pool which is super great for those hot days. We had a pull through spot in the shade which was also awesome. There are lots of permanent campers there , and also lots of open spots for on the road campers to come through. During the week it’s nice and quiet, towards the weekend is when the park starts to fill up and the party begins. If we ever come back to that area, we’d stay there again! The owner is amazing super nice and accommodating 👌thank you! 🙌🙏😀
Chimney Rock RV Park is very well kept up and a great place for families. The playground is fun for kids, and there are a few covered places you can go to read, play games, or just relax. The pool is great with plenty of seating and loungers. The bathhouse is nice and the laundry facilities are newer and reasonably priced. There is a Marina with a restaurant right down the road. The only drawbacks are that the spots are a bit tight and it appears most spots are either long-term or rental campers, and the camper community "feel" is lacking. We will be back.
I loved this park the second we arrived. Very cute and great customer service. I would have given it a 5+ if we had a different spot. Just don't get spot 21. It is one of those semi-circle areas with 2 spots - 20 and 21. In 21, someone is in front of you and if you unhook, you literally drive over the hill. (Can't pull forward.) It is too steep to even sit outside with chair. (20 is fine -- can pull forward and there is no hill.) We sat under our fifth wheel after a long day of driving just to enjoy outside. Very steep and hard to get out your RV. They gave us an extra step that was already on the spot. We were here one night only but sharing so you know. If we were here 2 nights, I'd have to give it 2 stars becaause we didn't even have a place to use our Blackstone due to the immediate hill out the RV. Just don't get this site and you will fall in love with Chimney Rock. We will be back!
