The atmosphere is warm, it's a busy place but there are separate areas for dining, which makes it feel intimate. Service from Jennifer, our bartender, was wonderful, she made us feel very comfortable. She was very knowledgeable about the bourbons on sale and offered many suggestions on cocktails. My husband's steak was done to perfection, I opted for a warm brie salad and a fully loaded potato. The potato arrived before the salad, and was very tasty. It seemed the kitchen had forgotten my salad and when it did arrive it looked wilted and very sad, however, it was flavorful. The presentation and timing could have been a lot better. It's an expensive evening out, everything on the menu is high dollar but it's well worth spoiling yourself when you're in the area.
The only real complaint is the dirty cutlery and none too clean drinking glasses.
The drinks were good, the bourbon selection was good, the salmon was great, and the service was very good. My wife enjoyed her steak. The warm Brie salad was way better than I thought it would be, I will order that again in the future.
Only reason I took off a star is because the Brussels sprouts were bad. They were chewy and not cooked properly. If they’re crispy then they’re delicious, but my wife and I both got them and they were inedible. Order some other side and you’ll likely have a great dinner. Wouldn’t stop me from returning, but I would never order those again here. Weird since everything else was so good.
Great atmosphere. Food was delicious!! Grilled Caesar, Brussels and Mac and cheese were out of this world! Must try the Bourbon Blackberry Mash! Our server, Amanda, did a fantastic job and made for an overall wonderful experience. Will definitely be back!
Solid 4. Had dinner reservations at 5 on a Wednesday. Seated immediately. Can be hard to find as it sits under the stairs of the whiskey museum and a truck was blocking the sign. Our server Tatiyana was really sweet. The blueberry salmon was fantastic. The steak linguine was good but had way too much sauce on it. Definitely a great meal!
