El Nopal Mexican Restaurant

I was happy to find a different menu that had options that bordered on true native foods.

I choose the Nopal Especial...cactus, peppers, chicken, sausage, and beef, serve with remarkable black beans that were seasoned to perfection. The beans were cold yet wonderful....yum!

Great service and hospitality too.

My husband and I have ordered here since they first opened. Always loved the food at the El Nopal restaurants. Service is always fast and friendly. However, the past 2 visits were disappointing as far as our food was concerned. The Monica platter was a much smaller serving and with barely any cheese. The chicken quesadilla was also skimpy on the cheese. Just wasn't as good as we've had on the past. Maybe they were running low on cheese those past 2 visits.
《《Update》》 went back a few times and the queso cheese was plentiful! Yummy! Really love the food and the cuisine service is great!

Love this place, great food, strong margaritas.(cute server doesn't hurt AT ALL)

Headed to the Louisville Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and stopped here for lunch. Wow. It is really, really good. And fast. We will be back.

Great chips and salsa to munch on while waiting for your food. The Burrito Gigante with queso cheese is awesome!
