Tell these guys & gals your dream and watch them make it REAL!!! I'm a former engineer (so I'm picky) that started with a 2 page wish list. The guidance was fantastic! These guys and gals are REAL craftsmen! They take pride in their work and it really shows. If you want a "big box" style RV, go to a dealer. If you want something custom made at a very reasonable price, this is your place!!!!!!! Be patient and let them do their handywork, its worth it.
Greg and the team at Vintage Basecamp are top-notch: talented, hard working and conscientious. Two years ago they repaired and updated various systems on our 1969 Safari to give it the love a 50 year old trailer deserves. Two weeks ago Greg saved our vacation with an emergency repair of the door lockset without which we would have had to abandon our tour (couldn’t get in the trailer!) From sexy total rehabs to the more mundane necessary repairs on Airstreams, Vintage Basecamp knows how to get it done.
Best Vintage Airstream Restoration company around. Highly recommend!
These guys are excellent! We sought their expertise and had them do a full inspection on an AS we were looking at purchasing. We were able to buy with complete confidence and surety that if we need work done on it in the future, we have access to an expert. We also brought the newly purchased AS back to them to have tires put on it. We certainly could have done that closer to our home in Lexington, but we have the surety that it’s done right with these guys. Highest marks and recommendations from us!
I can’t say enough about this team. I feel like they actually care for the wellbeing of the vintage trailers. Preserving history. Willing to work within my budget. And patient with my questions.
