We had an all around amazing experience at this park! The two of us and our dog camped at primitive site 30, we really loved being right on the water. We fished all weekend and were able to kayak right off of our site. There was a clean & nice port-a-potty near our campsite which was very convenient rather than having to make many trips up to the bathhouse. The staff was awesome, we regret not getting the guys names but we will back soon and be sure to do so then. Saturday night a large group of teenagers attempted to throw some type of party but it was quickly shut down by staff, we were impressed that they were still at the park so late, approximately 10:30pm. We did not swim at the pool because of the dog but we might next time, the snack shack was great too. We are planning on going/camping at every state park in KY but we loved this one so much we will probably be back before we cross other parks off our list.
Fun, beautiful place to camp and have fun with family. Wish pool was opened and some rude boaters when trying to fish and wish it had a better spots in someplace to get closer and easier way to the water. Other than that it was pretty fun
Loved our trip to Kincaid!! Every park staff was sooo helpful as this was our first family camping trip. Definitely recommend going during the week, less busy! we had the entire side of the tent section to ourselves which was awesome because we had 2 toddlers and a 5 year old with us. the only downfall was having to pay for the pool as a camper but it wasn’t expensive. i loved our time on the boats! The boats are so nice and not expensive at all! only $35/hour for the pontoon and they have life jackets that fit a 2 year old so i felt very safe with everyone on board. overall a wonderful experience and we will DEFINITELY 100% be back. i’m already planning our next trip!
