The food was very delicious. The server took our six orders without writing them down and brought out the correct six dishes quickly. The food was very good, and we were all impressed with the portions. The restaurant had a steady stream of locals ordering food and talking about how much they liked the food.

I would go here again.

I was ordering dinner for my family. Asked about coupons was told "no coupons prices good" that was absolutely TRUE! They let me substitute lomein for rice at NO extra charge (everyone else charges extra). Portions were big. Order was correct, hot and Fabulous! This little place in Georgetown KY will be my NEW Chinese restaurant. Well worth the drive from Owenton, Ky.

I stop in when I need serious comfort food. The egg rolls are so delicious. I've been known to get just 3 or 4 orders of egg rolls (2 egg rolls per order) so I have extras to take for lunches at work. The veggies are the best I've had at any Chinese restaurant -- so fresh and crisp. The fried rice is a little disappointing, but I can make good rice at home. I can't make those egg rolls. Tony -- host, waiter, and I assume owner/manager -- is friendly and personable. I was looking for a reasonable replacement since The Plum Tree closed. I'm glad I found Shanghai Express. Nothing else in Georgetown or Lexington compares.
