Channel Cat Fish House

Second visit now, staff is awesome (very nice people) but the things to talk about are, pork belly Brussel sprouts, and the Ruben. With these two dishes alone I could eat here daily.

First time here. Found them via a simple Google search since we were hungry for catfish.
We were seated quickly (6:45 on a Friday evening), everyone was friendly & greeted us upon entry. We sat out on deck & appreciated the fan to keep the air stirred & bugs away. Drinks came quickly, then the food. We both had catfish platter & everything was excellent. Onions rings were a little salty, but hubby ate every one. The broccoli slaw was a refreshing change from the standard cabbage slaw. The fries have a seasoning that negate the need for any ketchup. Catfish was crispy & not greasy & the shrimp were full size, not that wimpy popcorn shrimp you can get at some places.
Another refreshing plus were the 2 German beer types. Having lived in Germany, we always prefer this style.
We were full, but not stuffed & definitely plan on returning in the future.

Never had been before. Great staff. Very clean. Great looking patio. We’re both had cod sandwiches, huge portion of fish and great tasting fries. Definitely worth the trip to hang out at the River.

Lovely restaurant, with super awesome staff and great food too. I had to order takeout today, but look forward to eating creekside. I would definitely recommend to check them out.

Fabulous new waterfront restaurant in Shelbyville! Located right across the street from Bulleit Distillery. Delicious food and great service. Dine inside or outside on the lakeside patio.
