I love this place. The owner is wonderful. It's so nice to go eat somewhere and feel like you are at home. The food is amazing. Everyone needs to experience the food and the kindness of the owner. You would think I would know her name by now.
Comfort food at its finest. Can't beat the Hot Brown, which comes in a small or large portion.
The food here is amazing - it’s a foodie lovers rare find in such a small town. It’s all made fresh and the recipes/combos are not what you’d expect (in a really good way!)
Great detour or definitely some place to eat if you are already in the area!
Cafe at Main has a very homey vibe. Food is all home made and done by husband and wife who have been cooking in this setting for a number of years. They are very pleasant to deal with. My mom frequents this place and brought me out for lunch. The general hours are short and go from 11:30am to 2PM so it is specifically lunch. There's a variety of salads and sandwiches that are so fresh! My mom had the "Chicken Salad Salad" which is her go to. I tried so.e if hers and it was excellent. I chose the Hot Brown which seems to be a favorite and I was not disappointed. Turkey, homemade bread, a good blend of cheese, freshly cooked bacon, and fresh tomatoes made this an excellent meal. Will definitely be returning! Make sure to call ahead as they sometimes only seat by reservation due the popularity.
Hit or miss here. The French toast is more of a bread pudding. The hot brown was delicious. The service is very slow expect to be here an hour and a half. Partially because they make your food from scratch and they have one waitress for the entire place. They often run out of certain items on the menu because they're only open specific days of the week. There is also a shop upstairs.
Please hire more staff.
