I'm a long-term camper here and while I've been here I've loved my stay. Really friendly and caring owners. Very nice pond with fish and a good dog park.
I love this campground! We live here and it’s great. The owners are amazing. I do wish there was more things to do. But overall it’s amazing!
Lots of HUGE boat storage. It has horses. Fishing. And easy access. Lots of HUGE boat storage. This place is great too.
I went here for a little weekend getaway by myself. I was a little nervous as I had never camped alone and am younger woman. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted and welcomed. It’s a gated park at night so that made me feel even safer. I was there for 2 nights and never felt scared once. This is a great little campsite if you need something a little quieter since it’s not directly on the lake. The lake is a couple minute drive though if that’s what you want. The bathroom was very clean. Definitely enjoyed my stay and will be back there again very soon!
Highly recommend this park. It had been closed for many years and the new owners opened it back up in spring of 2017. Some things still need work (playground is old, minimal and muddy, only 1 set of washer/dryers, pools still closed etc) but everything they have gotten to to fix up looks great. The folks who run the place are really fantastic, which inspired the 5-star review. Upon arrival we asked for a picnic table and for a limb to be cut down so we could open our awning. Before I had even walked back to the camper the 2 men were there talking to my husband about the tree and within the hour the limb was cut and we had a picnic table. Spots are all pretty level and have a good amount of space between them. Very quiet and scenic, the kids loved running around and fishing. This park has a lot of room for improvement but they are well on their way!
My only word of advice is the entrance/exit. There is a right turn up a hill marked as the “entrance” this will take you past the office. You can also continue straight to enter the park, this has no uphill but does have a bit of a sharp turn. Suggest taking a look at both options to see which would work better for your rig.
