“Hygge Creek Cottage is a lovely home away from home. We spent alot of time on the back deck, it was so peaceful you could hear the creek in the background. It is centrally located to two charming towns. They have everything for your shopping experience, including antique shops, restaurants and grocery stores. The cottage is furnished with everything you need from the comfy beds to the fully equipped kitchen. The Kentucky theme makes you feel like you are learning about Kentucky and makes you feel at home. The cottage boutique features local artists and promotes local business. A wide variety. The host family is remarkable, very friendly and helpful with any questions. This will be our go to place when we visit the area. Thank you to Chrissy and her family.”

“Good motel for the price. Price: we paid $75 a night plus tax for a 4 night stay while visiting family nearby. Decor: Nicely decorated with an antique rustic vibe. Authentic antiques. Furniture: Furnishing were good, older styles and eclectic but functional. Comfortable mattresses but underneath the mattress was thick plastic and the floors and bed skirts could have been cleaned better. Owner was a nice older gentleman- we were provided clean fresh towels daily and the room was freshened up daily, waste cans emptied, etc.”

“You can actually call and be 100 percent sure on a special bottle . example call .Any 5ths of Hennessy .tried cashier will usually let you know what they have if your out by Taylorsville lake also beer cave . Tobacco products they usually have almost everything you need on Kentucky's best stuff to that nature.Also ok n certain days you can buy a 25 oz Beer and get the second for a fair price also they carry 12 packs of soda .and on the go 20 oz cokes .I would not waste my time on this review if I didn't like this store and crew there so good they usually know what flavor monsta I drink and smokes .Also a big variety of different on the go vapes tobacco.Also pipes and glass vases for special occasions.Thanks everyone at this store all of them need raises remember everything is up GOOD DAY.”

“Was driving through the area for something else and was getting hungry so my wife and I stopped here for the first time. My wife got a nice sandwich and piece of cheesecake. She liked what she got. I got a cowboy burger with a side of red potato salad instead of chips and a piece of chocolate pie. I really liked what I ordered. We live about 1.5 hours away and will definitely eat here again if we are in the area.”

“The staff members are awesome! The manager helped me with items on a top shelf and was extremely pleasant and patient. The selection of food has greatly improved since the addition of the “Market.” The store, however, has been in complete disarray the last two times I have been there. I could not even get into the aisles for the items I needed. I do not think this is the fault of the workers, because they were very busy helping customers. The company needs to give them more help to put away stock. I’m very thankful to have the Dollar General near me so that I do not have to go all the way into town for smaller shopping runs. Pleasant staff make up for the messy store. 😊”
