(June 26, 2021, 7:51 am)The homestead is very interesting. The cabins are full of artifacts from the era with descriptions of what they are. The memorial to Nancy Hanks is touching and there is information on a reenactment of the Lincoln Hanks wedding they held back in 1935.
(March 27, 2019, 7:25 pm)Beautiful quiet place to relax with the kiddos!! Great place to have family get togethers!! FYI!! The bathrooms are not going to be open til April first!!! I cannot wait until the leaves bloom!! Beautiful place to take pics!! Anyways!! Wat happened to the swings?!? Come on Washington County!! Get some swings out here!! 😁😘
(October 29, 2017, 11:09 pm)Interesting, but everything locked up tight when I was there in late October... Off the beaten trail. Have to look for this or know where you are going. Fun and educational background on President Abraham Lincoln family heritage.
