Must stop place if in Baton Rouge food is outstanding as is the service. Even during the busy lunch rush.
Amazing food! Had the chicken and sausage gumbo along with a crawfish po boy. Excellent bread which is important for a poboy. Great prices.
There were two of us, one had the crawfish. Poor boy, plenty of crisp. Juicy crawfish. Sounds like a contradiction but it's not! I had half roast beef Poor boy, and seafood gumbo. Both were very very good. We were there at 11:00, and the place was already very busy. Lots of regular clientele. Definitely will go back
Amazing and favorable cajun food! Shrimp, crawfish, and catfish all in one geaux. The messy fries for the appetizers are well worth the money spent and honestly could be your meal by itself. My mom and I couldn't even finish one plate of messy fries together!
Enjoyed food from here twice so far. All of it has been good. Upon my first visit, my friend and I shared the fried seafood (double) with catfish and shrimp. We also got the messy fries, which I really like. With my second visit, I tried the grilled shrimp poboy (half) and my girl had the fried seafood stuffed potato. We also had the bread pudding and it was excellent. I'll definitely recommend it. I plan to try other items from the menu in the future. Pictured is the fried seafood and messy fries from my first visit. No pic of the second trip however.
