  This is truly a hidden jem in Baton Rouge. If you like authentic Hong Kong style Chinese food you will definitely want to try them. Their Mai Fun and Szechuan style dishes are one of a kind and definitely a taste you won't experience in Mainland style restaurants elsewhere. Word of advice, order from their menu and ask for authentic Chinese dishes, you wont regret it. A family owned business for over 30 yrs and one of the few ones that puts affordability and quality both in the menu. Hands down one of the top restaurants in the city that preserves the old world regale together with the nostalgic taste that one expects from an authentic Chinese restaurant.

  Easily the best Chinese food I've ever had. They give you so much! Egg rolls are perfectly crispy here, I love the chicken teriyaki appetizer, and there are plenty of vegetarian options. I'm a repeat customer here and my experience has always been positive.

  Chinese Inn on Nicholson exhibits the epitome of the American Dream and entrepreneurship. Their family came from China and the grandfather opened the restaurant over 50 years ago. Yes, 50 years Chinese Inn has been open and at this location. If that's not a testament to their hard work and dedication to quality and service, I don't know what is. I will always frequent small business like these. Cheers to another 50 years!
