Dr. Hargroder performed the Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery on me in Plaquemine, LA in October 2002. I lost 100 pounds and would like to lose another 10 pounds, but it seems to be hanging on, even after 18 years. . . but I did not gain back any weight and I totally changed my eating habits. So, I am not going to complain about those "10 pounds from perfect". Not having to worry about so many health issues has changed my life: worrying about which diet should I try now? Diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, GERD, painful joints, shortness of breath . . . all these things disappeared after losing all that weight. Thank you, Dr. "Drew". I feel that you saved my life!

He is still the wonderful, caring, cowboy boots wearing doctor he was when I first met him 7 1/2 years ago! Dr. Hargroder has your best interest at heart. He listens to you then he explains what he thinks would be best, to achieve the best results for you. What a wonderful doctor!!!
