Acadian Swamp Tours

My sister and I had a great time on the swamp tour with Rodney! He was super informative and friendly. We loved being on the water and the wildlife was beautiful. We will definitely do it again.

What a great outing to see some of the bayou and experience a bit of life on the river in LA. We were able to see many alligators, alligator nest, raccoon swimming across the river, birds, and enjoy the calmness of the waters.

Rodney and the Acadian tour is truly what you're after for a visit to the bayou. Relaxed, and informative. The tour along the grand river and into the backwaters gives a true sense of the ecosystem, the people who settled the lands, and of course the wildlife. Rather than putting on a show by baiting gators, Rodney simply takes you on an excursion to his favorite place, and gives you the thoughts that being out in nature brings to mind. Be sure to ask about the the Cajun people in Louisiana. Rodney has a great grasp of that history.

What an awesome tour! Our guide was very nice and knew a lot about the area. We enjoyed talking to him very much. It started raining while we were wrapping up the tour and he gave us a towel and offered to let us hang out and dry off in the office afterward. We saw alligators, birds, and all kinds of other animals. The boat ride was very relaxing. We would definitely recommend this tour to others.

Really had a great time and Rodney is a really good guy. So happy to have had this experience and we will definitely be coming back
