Several years ago Mr. Koehler prepared the Last Will and Testaments for both my wife and me. We felt it was timely to review our Wills, to make a number of changes, and to simplify where possible. As such we setup a meeting with Mr. Koehler to discuss our current situations and get his feedback. Steve was very helpful and provided us with options and recommendations on how we might accomplish our objective. A few weeks later we had our second and final meeting at which time we finalized and signed our new Wills, Durable Powers of Attorney, etc., etc.. Living in Minnesota, and then charged with administrating a Louisiana succession from afar, I went to the internet and selected Steve Koehler, after an "interviewing" telephone call, using his website. This VERY COMPLICATED succession took over three and a half years, selecting a Louisiana CPA firm for the filing of 22 state and federal tax returns, and ultimately involved 12 unrelated heirs spread out over the country. We developed a good, long distance working relationship, that never required that we had to actually meet in person, to complete the administration.
