Was pleasantly surprised by this park. Very peaceful and enjoyable walk across about a 1.6 mile boardwalk through the swamp. Smalln pond in the middle with picnic tables. Would definitely recommend if in the area.

Awesome place to get away from the city and the crowds and when we were here, there was only one other couple I saw with their child the entire time. The water level was about six inches from the boardwalk and a little flooded over in one tiny little section but easy to get by with some careful walking. I was hoping to see a gator or two, but didn't while I was here.

Just hiked on the trail. Didn't go into the museum. The trail was short but cute. Saw a gator! If you're looking for a free solution to a swamp tour this could be it. You might not see a gator though if that's what you're hoping for but you might.
