Can't say enough wonderful things about Laketown Village. Cindy was more than accommodating with my pressure of an emergency move in. My first tour of the facility made ME feel I was at home. I only found one minor problem on my initial tour which I felt at ease mentioning to Cindy and every visit to the facility since, I've noticed it's been addressed and fixed. Everyone on the entire staff has been wonderful. They know all residents by name. My parents love the apartment and the therapy they are receiving. They rave about the food and my mother who was not eating prior to moving in now never misses a meal. And they love all the staff. The on site transportation to doctor appointments is wonderful since I live out of state. The courtyard is beautiful. The meals I've had there are high end restaurant quality. Residents are all a pleasure to speak with. Cindy, Charlie and Renee are an asset and without their help, I would have never been able to get my parents moved in. Laketown and Cindy were a Godsend when I was at a loss for what to do for my 85 year old parents who will be celebrating their 65th anniversary and didn't want to live apart. I wish I could give the facility 100 stars. Thank you.
We live in another state and knowing Mom is in good hands keeps us sane. The crew at Laketown does a great job taking care of mother.
Personally I feel the facility is very nice, however, I had to put trash bags in my mother in laws can in her room and load her drinks in her refrigerator. I certainly did not mind doing this but felt it could have been done by personal. The drinks were stacked by the refrigerator so she could not access what was already in there.
We were very pleased with our visit and tour. Cindy answered our questions, explained the accommodations, levels of care and activities so well. She took time to find out about us, our interests, and concerns.The tour included the general areas as well as an apartment. The staff was very friendly. Now we have good information to be able to evaluate how well this facility will meet our needs.
