I acquired my sons boat and needed to have the motor verified that it was reliable for me to sell. I have my own boat and recently purchased a new 2020 mercury 150. He completed through inspection of the motor which is a 2000 115 mercury. He found things that I would have never found. These people are professional, honest and GOD loving. It was a pleasure to do business with them. I will certainly get ALL my service work done with Landry. The price was fair and all items itemized. I would recommend them to anyone needing service. I recently experianced engine trouble while fishing from Grand Isle. I made a call to Landry's Outboard Motors & Repair Service and was advised to bring the boat in. I bought a used boat six months back and thought it was the best thing ever! But it started having issues and I finally spun a prop. I heard from my brother-in-law about Landry’s and took it to them.

I just got my boat back this week and DAMN that thing runs good now! They checked things I would have never thought of and they fixed so many little things that were causing issues. They even went out of their way to move my bulb up out of the bilge and found an obscure trim switch I needed.

More importantly, their prices were fantastic! I would highly recommend anyone needing work on their motor or boat to give them a try!

Last week I purchased my first outboard from landrys outboards. I visited multiple outboard sellers across southern louisiana to try and find the best bang for my buck and repower my recently restored 1976 cajun spec bass boat . Upon researching and calling around I found many different size engines and makes making the decision of who to deal with very difficult. I finally found a johnson 115 at another dealer that would be the perfect size. When I visited landrys outboards he showed me almost the exact motor . The next couple of days I worked with both dealers to see who could give me the best deal. Needless to say Mr Robert worked with me and was able to beat the price by a little. The next morning I arrived at landrys outboards with my boat and checked the motor out (all seemed to be in good running condition) upon purchasing the motor he even offered to seal and bolt it up free of charge . I've installed the controls and taken the motor out twice now and runs like a dream. . No complaints . Thank you Mr Landry
