(February 7, 2022, 2:30 pm)My husband and I found our puppy there and we would not have had it any other way! They care for their animals and ensure the best people can adopt! Spaying/neutering and vaccines are included in their adoption fee. The only bad thing is some of the names they give to the dogs. My dog was originally named Brook over there; we renamed her to Daisy. She is the best dog! Such good people too!

(June 11, 2019, 8:43 pm)I volunteered here a while back with Central JROTC and loved talking to the workers and seeing how much they care about the animals. The cats were super adorable and lovable and the dogs were all very sweet. I remember one dog in particular, D.O.G., yes that was his name and everyone loved him. Hope he went to a loving home.

The employees knew the animals like the back of their hand and were extremely helpful in choosing the right cat for our home, especially since we have other animals with special requirements. The staff was always friendly and we loved coming in to look at the cats and dogs. Also loved the fact that the staff were super knowledgeable about animal care and gave us helpful hints for introducing our new kitten into the family and home. Will recommend this shelter forever! It's the only place I've ever adopted from. Also loved that the adoption fees were extremely doable and fair. If I could give you guys 6 stars i would! I'll be coming over the summer to volunteer for my vet tech program. LOVE this place!!
