I go here quite often for take out. There's always a good selection of entrees but I always get their fried catfish. No one can beat it. It's absolutely delicious. I've come to know most of the people that work here and they are always professional and the nicest bunch of people you'll ever meet.
Just great customer service, food super yummy and fresh. They fried me some fresh fish even though there was one old one sitting there without me even asking which was just so great and courteous! But a lot of tables were dirty when we tried to sit down or I would give a 5 star review.
The food is always awesome the line servers are always professional, polite and friendly. The waiters and waitresses are usually polite courteous and friendly. But we had one tonight that needs more training. This individual was so slow that it took 5 minutes to get our silverware and drinks. It was as if this individual did not want be at work. I completely understand that we all have bad days but when you're in the customer service industry your focus should be on customer satisfaction. Now it could be that they were short staffed and this individual was being overworked I get that. But customer satisfaction and prompt service should always come first.
This is a great restaurant, serving comfort food, all the traditional southern classic dishes. You really can’t go wrong. If you are a native Louisianan you will be familiar with the Piccadilly brand and what they do. For those unfamiliar: you go through the line, choosing dishes to add to your plate. Most generally get the Dilly plate, which consists of a main dish, 2 sides, a bread and a drink. You then find a table in the dining room and a server simply brings you refills on drinks or condiments as you need it. Piccadilly is always a good value, and unless you are dining on a Sunday after church, it is only slightly more of a time commitment than fast food. The Sunday lunch crowd is the busy time, but even then, the line moves quite well. Piccadilly holds a special place for me, it reminds me of going to the Cortana Mall location in the 80’s and 90’s. The format hasn’t changed much, though this location is updated visually. Good stuff, give it a try!
