Down Home Cafe

Down Home has become my favorite breakfast spot in Livingston. The food is always exactly what I expect. Good country home cooking with fantastic service. Maybe an occasional slip-up from the kitchen, but that is to be expected in a busy restaurant, and it gets corrected before you have time to start missing your plate. Even when they are very busy I have always received prompt friendly service. This is what a hometown restaurant is all about!

Great, local breakfast and lunch spot. The sausage gravy is excellent and the staff are friendly.

Prices were great, service was friendly, the food was just like mom wanted her food to taste, but the clincher was that it was fast! Surprisingly fast. We has our food at the table cooked perfectly within 10 minutes of ordering.... my wife got the patty melt and I got the chicken fried steak sandwich... both were worth going back for! Will definitely be going back!
