When the wind blows you can sit under these branches and hear a symphony playing above you. Its another of the more unknown spots in the city. What it is most of all is something different right at Big Lake and off the path to the museum of art. Worth a visit if you're out that way,
It’s a nice and unique experience to hear all the chimes on the tree it makes for a great picnic day under the tree
It’s on the map for a reason. Absolutely stunning. Only wish there were more benches.
The years go by, the world keeps changing, and still the magic tree remains the most beautiful of my dreamy afternoon memories. Just to lay on the grass under the shade of this giant tree and drift away with the vibrations of each deep sound... It is healing.
Come here on a day with a bit of a breeze and listen to the wind chimes make a melody! Stand right by the tree to hear it most clearly. The chimes on the south side are coherent with the scale of D Major.
