(October 14, 2020, 1:06 am)We got to do a private tour for our honeymoon and it was such a phenomenal experience! George and his wife Sam are the real deal when it comes to hospitality! My husband wants to move to their camp, yesterday! George's knowledge of the bayou may be equalled but i doubt his passion can be. I could go on and on but I'll say only two days into our trip and we are considering going again before we leave!
(March 12, 2020, 6:23 pm)Our tour guide was amazing. George was so awesome and really shared the history of hurricane Katrina and we saw some gators. If you’re looking for some history and an interesting boat tour, this is the one for you. There was even a bathroom break at his camp in the middle of the tour!!!

Weather has been warming up and we saw a decent amount of smaller gators on our tour day and also a bald eagle. George and Samantha run a fantastic operation. Samantha's communication was great in setting up the tour and George made our day very enjoyable.
(December 17, 2019, 11:04 pm)We had the best time on the bayou with Captain George! So many fun stories and so much information learned. It was really cool to see alligators and to learn about their environment. Being from out of town, having the transportation back to our hotel was very much appreciated. Absolutely recommend this tour!

My wife and I tried for about a month to book an affordable swamp tour for our New Orleans trip. Some were booked and the rest didn't seem to want our money because they were flat out rude! We finally stumbled upon Happiness Bayou tours, a private tour for our group of six at a good price, we called, they booked us immediately and were super freaking friendly in the process!
We are so glad the others fell through because we had the best time!
Captain George was an amazing guide!
He seemed so thankful just for getting to share his swamp with us.
It made for a really amazing experience! 5 stars!
We are thinking about going on the crabbing tour next year instead of the swamp tour!!
