Great place to stay of youvwant to fish1

Our group of 9 couldn't have had a better experience at Dogwood Lodge. Tracy was a great host, and a fantastic cook! All rooms were spotless and the bar was very well-stocked. I've stayed at the Sportsman's Lodge in Venice, which is also owned by SWC, and they're both great places to stay. Book with confidence -- this place is great. We will return! J. Armstrong, et al.

Beautiful old vessel, great cuisine from Tracy.
This vessel is at quay in the Hopedale Marina.
It is a beautiful old boat that has been refurbished without loosing its charm.
If you fish there your captain will come with its skiff in the morning and you will just have to jump in the skiff and go lure or fly fishing according to your own taste.
Tracy is the man onboard and his cuisine is really delicious. Pork, redfish, dessert, snacks for the early evening drink are simple but special at the same time.
Plan to stay a little longer than a day or 2 if you want to maximize your chances to catch fish as the weather is changing.
