Tavia Equine Center

My daughter started riding a few months ago, and she absolutely loves it! The quality of instructors, the infrastructure, the horses, and all of the other riders and parents are wonderful. Class act operation.

Great barn outside of nola. Raelin is a great trainer and there are a number of good natured teenage helpers. Prices are very fair, much better than in town stables and you get lots of individual attention. I take lessons all over the country while I tour. This is one of my favorites

Tavia is like the best barn ever!!! The riding instructors (Ms. Raelin and Dr. Randy) are REALLY good at teaching, they really help you learn a lot! At Tavia I have made so many new best friends! Everybody at the barn is super nice and friendly and is always trying to make you feel at home. I have been riding here for I think 2 years and I have already learned SO many new things! Like learning how to care for a horse, by feeding them, brushing them, bathing them, loving them, and treating them properly. On the weekends we stay all day and help the younger kids out by helping them tack up and stuff. Every time I go riding I ride this amazing horse named Norman, he has taught me so much. He is just like all of the other school horses that could also teach you so much!!!Tavia is an awesome barn, I would NEVER leave to go to another barn. Thats because its a great barn!! :)

I've been a riding student at TEC for almost seven years now, and can safely say it is by far the best barn I've ridden at. The training from both Dr. Randy and Raelin is exceptional. The most convenient thing about Tavia is the fact that there is a vet on the scene 24/7 (or close to it.) The staff really concentrates on individual horse's needs, as well as the rider/owner's. Turn out and feeding is very well-organized, and the upkeep of both the stalls and fields is exemplary. But aside from the great barn and staff, there are plenty of great horses available for lesson use! No matter what age or how much experience, there is a horse for you. And the riding school has plenty of young, horse-crazy riders always eager to make new friends.
