My son has been attending KA of Aurora since they opened last February. The owners, director, and assistant director are wonderful. We have had a steady stream of different teachers in his 3 year old class and most of them were nice, even if they didn't stay for very long. His first teacher was promoted to Assistant Director and he loves seeing her every day. He frequently tells me he loves Ms. Susan. His new 4 year old teacher, Mr. Matt has been there since the beginning and is great. Our son loves the Friday Sprinker Days and Wacky Wednesdays in the summer time. The events they have done for the kids and families have been great from the Open House, Kiddie Derby, and Storytime Live. They have comparable rates to other local daycares and offer flexible days so you can have your kiddo there part time or full time. The biggest drawback has been transportation from the local school district. Our son also attends pre-k during the school year, and the school district is unwilling to bus the children to this location for a set of unclear and seemingly made up reasons. That is not the fault of KA, but be aware if you're contemplating after care for a pre-schooler in public school, it will require personal transportation to/from KA.
Our son had a difficult time in other schools but Kiddie Academy has been life changing! He's happy and he's learning so much. The owners and the teachers are amazing. They have awesome activities for the kids and they have constant communication with the parents to make sure everyone is happy.
I feel confident that my kid is in good hands and I'm looking forward to have my youngest kid here too.
We love this place and recommend it to anyone searching for daycare. The tuition is comparable and honestly better than the other schools in the area especially as it includes lunch. They also have water day in the summer, special visitors, and fun themes. We had a big problem with our son always being sick at his last day care which was not typical since he had been in daycare since 3 months old. He's rarely been sick at this daycare as they are very good about cleaning toys and they have a sanitizing machine.
Our son has been here as soon as the school opened and we will likely keep him there until Kindergarten. First and foremost the teachers are great, Ms. Yonette, Ms. Jordan, Ms. Claire, Ms. Tyla and Mr. Matt are all teachers that our son comes home and talks about. They're engaging, sweet, kind and always keeping parents updated. Our son comes home learning something new daily.
We also love that the directors and owners having personal relationships with parents and kids. Our son knows them all by name. They are very welcoming and easy to talk to, I can honestly say I hope this place never changes.
