I was so appreciative of this place. The lady who was working in the front knew I was having an awful week, and she gave me a hug. She talked with me, and made me feel comfortable and safe, which is what I currently needed-The Southern hospitality I didn’t receive the past week in Convent.
They have a beautiful pool area, a good size playground, and the RV space is a great amount, not to mention their general store is racked with so many spices that I’m really wanting to head back in there and grab some amazing items to try and do some grilling on their fire pits!
If you’re looking for a great destination to enjoy the Deep South’s exotic and absolutely delicious food, you’re very close to the Chicken Bayou which has an amazing selection of Louisiana’s beautiful cuisine.
Above all, this seems like a place that will be placed in my Google Save.
Great place, plenty of room, clean and kept up. Spots are set up nice with cement patios. Very reasonably priced for the quality.
In the heart of Cajun Country: A friendly family oriented place with beautiful moss covered trees all around. Entertainment at their pavillion with schedules for bands on their web site . They host lots of events and cook offs . There are cute little cabins to rent complete with a pirogue shack for rentals if you want to go down the bayou from the dock in the back of the property. There are golf carts to ride and sight see in this huge park. Swimming pool open in season complete with bath houses for men and women. They have a full operating laundry room free of charge on site . They sell butane for your convenience when coming off of the road. There is always a camp worker on call for any issues that may arise once the store and office closes. All of the staff here are courteous and professional . There are several playgrounds including a putt putt golf course for the children. Each site has a concrete slab with picnic tables and a fire ring. There’s a little country store at the entrance stocked with anything you need from food items to cast iron pots and burners . That would be for starters because I don’t have enough room writing all the good things I have to say about this place and the owners Shane and Stacey Hollier . Mais , if you want to pass a good time make your way to Cajun Heritage RV park ! You’ll love it cher!!
We just spent one night here... check-in, hook up, check-out the next morning. We had no issues, though we didn't try any activities nor any of the facilities.
We did ask them about working with us to extend our stay due to an oncoming hurricane in Florida. We didn't need to extend, but they were very helpful and willing to work with us if the need arised.
