Metairie Bank is my favorite community bank specifically for consumer checking and saving accounts. I highly recommend Metairie Bank's simply free checking and love their instant issue debit cards. If you have children in high school or in the area, this is a great bank to get them started with as Metairie Bank offers great technology with their mobile and online banking options. Located nearby many schools and St. Tammany Hospital on South Tyler, this is a great, convenient, local bank.
