If you want to see a doctor who is more common sense and with all around medical knowledge than any other doctor in St. Tammany Parish - go see Dr. Matta. I retired from medical malpractice and can tell you by far he is the best I have ever seen both professionally and personally. If you need treatment - go. If you need advice - go. Absolutely the best !!!

This is one awesome Dr., he takes his time to explain and he’s a dr that listens to every word. I can say I have never had a dr who took so much time and genuinely concern about my health. I think if you would in the dictionary under Dr I think you would see his picture and all of his qualifications that drs today don’t have. Thanks to God that he sent me to Dr Matta. 🍃🙏🍃

Every person here was so friendly and helpful. The Dr especially took his time to explain things and help me make sense of my situation and what could potentially be the cause . Bonus points because the Halloween decorations in there were adorable 😍

I have been myself once and my toddler twice. We had good experiences each time. The doctors are knowledgeable, actually spend time with you providing a thorough examination and great patient education. The front office staff is very welcoming with a short wait time.

A++ Urgent Care! When we first arrived to the Northshore our youngest daughter fell really ill. Since we were new to the area, we decided to take her to Tchefuncta Urgent Care. We saw Dr. Matta and we were highly impressed with his knowledgeable experience plus incredible bedside manners. Since then, my entire family has been under his care. Dr. Matta is super, and has been spot-on with all our medical conditions. The staff is also very welcoming and attentive, and the office is immaculate. Tchefuncta Urgent Care never disappoints. Our experience has been nothing short of amazing! Highly recommend to anyone (young or old)!!!
