My friend and I have never been kayaking only a history of canoeing. Needless to say we had a blast on the river and we figured it out pretty quick. The cost was right in our range, but we both wish we would have done the 3 hour tour! Highly recommend for first timers-absolutely beautiful and we had a blast!
I should have reviewed these guys a year ago when I had the opportunity to. I had a trip set up but we got rained out. They refunded my whole amount on my credit card. That alone is exceptional. However, it gets better.
This weekend I finally had an opportunity to use their service. The staff was fantastic and the check-in was flawless.
We had a great day kayaking on the bogue falaya. At the end of my excursion, my phone fell in the deepest part of the water which is right in front of the dock. The water was 10 ft deep with a swift moving current. The staff worked effortlessly to retrieve my phone under the water. These people went above and beyond. In a time when most people would have said "it's not my problem", these folks took action. After multiple tries and losing hope. One of the staff surfaced with my phone in his hand. He said "got it, It was under a tree at the bottom." Absolutely amazing!!!!! Solid 5 star service! I can't thank these people enough.
Super fun!! We rented a tandem kayak and the smaller canoe for 3 adults and 2 young kids for 3 hours. We went upstream for about 2 hours and then floated most of the way back. It was so fun and a great first time out on the water for kids. Plenty of space for a cooler and plenty of water/snacks. Highly recommended!! Can’t wait to be back.
So much fun! Totally going back! Awesome spot!
Such an awesome time! One of the best experiences! The owner was so personable and made sure to keep in contact and update me on the weather situation. After a little rain delay I was able to get out on the river and experience it’s beauty. The gentleman they have working there, made sure to make my entrance and exit into the river smooth. They even provide you a waterproof bag to keep your belongs dry. The river had a nice flow but not overwhelming where you couldn’t navigate it. The scenery was beautiful and thereis a spot where you can dock your kayak and jump into the water off a rope swing! Such an awesome experience and when I am back in town again, will definitely visit canoe and trail adventure again! Thank you Chad !
