Caplan Eye Clinic

Just completed Cataract Surgery. I did thorough research and selected Dr. Sumich. Dr. Sumich was thorough, accommodating and did the work of calculating my prescription. I had had Lasik's surgery which really complicates getting the prescription right. He nailed it. Without his dedicated approach and diligent research I would have had to wear glasses for near and far. Great patient care and wonderful attention to the smallest details. I highly recommend Dr. Sumich for Cataract Surgery and general eye care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Caplan for many years in the Mandeville office. The Drs. are very informative and knowledgeable when dealing with my vision. I recently had cataract surgery on both eyes by Dr. Sumich. I had great results and no longer need glasses or contacts. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. I have been a client since I was a child at the location on the Southshore. All my family members also go to Caplan on the Southshore. I moved to the Northshore and was excited to see that he had a location here. Receptionist is friendly. I always had Dr. Caplan but now to go Sumich as he's available at the time of day I can go. Both doctors are VERY knowledgeable and have no hesitation to answer questions and have explained to me about my eye issues (floaters) in a manner I can understand, with tips on what to look out for and how to reduce eye strain. I recommend them 100%!
