  Dr. Brunt is very knowledgeable and attentive to his patients. He explained very clearly to us about our dog’s issue and took care of the problem. We had a great experience at Southern Veterinary Eye Care and definitely recommend this place if your fur babies have eye troubles.

  Amazing place to bring your fur baby with an eye injury! My Rougarou had a pretty bad abrasion while rough housing with his big brother. Brought him to my primary vet and she recommended I take him to Dr. Van Brunt. We went to see them that same day, and my baby was scheduled for surgery the very next morning for a corneal graft. It's only been about 3 weeks post-op. He is still healing, and it might look a little rough to others, but the important thing is that his eye was saved and he also retained about 98% of his vision! I highly recommend! Would give 10 stars if I could.

  Brought my 11 year old sweet sweet pitbull in for an eye issue,,Dr. explained everything in detail in a way I could actually understand!!!
  And the most important thing,,my baby boy LOVED the staff!!!

  Dr. Van Brunt & his staff are absolutely amazing. Passionate, yes! Caring, yes! Heart Warming, yes! Professional, yes! Positive, yes! Frankie had his right eye removed about a month ago & it was the best thing we could have had done, after listening to Dr. Van Brunt’s medical recommendation. When we returned to pick Frankie up he was like a new dog even though he’s blind in his left eye as well. It was like he was instantly pain free. For a doctor to refer to his patients as “kiddos” says a lot. Dr. Van Brunt is a blessing from above!
