(June 11, 2019, 8:20 pm)Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church gave an amazing warm welcome while we were visiting on vacation. They made us feel like family. Pastor Barb is a gem, she gave a delightful sermon and we loved the guitars accompanying each hymn. It was a fabulous laid back service ...just what we needed while on our relaxing vacation. If you haven’t found “your” church in Slidell you need to visit ... they welcome everyone and all are welcome because all are God’s children!
(March 18, 2019, 10:33 am)Lovely church with decent parking for its regular congregation. Tough for a wedding or larger crowd, mainly for flow because of the road it spills out onto. This church also does N.A meetings and has the schedule online. Wonderful that it gives back in this way. Cute little fun fact - there's a sweet cat that roams the grounds...doesn't get too close but makes it's adorable presence known.
