“If you want your child to become a true English equestrian rider and learn from 2 of the most dedicated horse women on the Northshore look no further! This facility's only interest is to make sure that horse and rider are a good fit and are safe.The camps are not about arts and crafts, swimming, or watching videos just to fill camp time. The children are not on the horse for just an hour. Thare there to learn how to ride and take care of that horse. There is constant supervision and all riders are required to wear helmets and paddock boots. If you don't own them they do loan the student the gear. The facility is maintained by only these 2 ladies and each horse has a unique bond with them. There is over 40 years of experience between these ladies as it shows with the countless Champion Ribbons that they have each earned in competition. This facility has taken my 13 year old from this insecure, non focused, self doubting teenager, to a secure, responsible young lady! So much so that at her first Horse Show on April 8, 2017 she won a Champion Ribbon herself. If you are not serious about horses then maybe this is not the place for you. I personally take GREAT offense to Mr. Yost's pompous review as this facility has truly change my child's life for the better and in turn makes me a better parent! Thank you.”

“On our way back home from a daycation, we decided to stop for breakfast in Slidell. We were very intrigued and inquisitive about La Pines Cafe. We had seen and heard of it being on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives. So glad we did. As we walked up to the cafe, we saw a crowd of people waiting outside the cafe. For a Sunday right in the peak of the breakfast rush, we anticipated waiting for a little bit. (That was fine) But... We didn't! We were quickly seated and was asked our drink orders and handed some menus. As we looked through all the amazing choices, we decided to get... Me: The Chicken Fried Platter Breakfast with 2 over easy eggs, home fries, and a biscuit. She: The Garden Omelet(Pepper Jack Cheese, Onions, Artichokes, Tomatoes, Spinach, Mushrooms) with some toast. The food was amazing and so were our servers, especially Wendy. We will definitely return to La Pines Cafe! Thanks, The Giaccones”

“Dave was absolutely fantastic. My pets adored him (even my very skittish cat!), and he was incredibly efficient and competent. Moreover, while taking care of an issue in the attic, he noted some unrelated shoddy work that could potentially cause me problems down the road. There was zero pressure for me to have him take care of it, and he simply wanted to let me know about it. (I did ask him to address it, which he did with efficiency and minimal cost/fuss.) I can't say enough about the company and the workers. Very professional and friendly. Highly recommend.”

The Windosr is an absolutely beautinful property, with updated studio and 1-bedroom apartments. This was a new venture for me and my family, but Miss Tina made this process very simple and comforatable for my Mother's trasnsition. exteremely accomodating and surpassed all my expectations. “Jason did a great job replacing my engine, I brought him a fresh remanufactured long block engine to replace the original engine. Another shop in the area known for engine replacements offered me a used engine for more money than the engine I bought at Autozone and the installation at Jason's shop. The other shop did offer a remanufactured engine with over a 3 month lead time and would only use one company's engines. Jason was fair in his pricing, did the job in less than a week, did a clean installation, and the engine runs perfect. I usually work on and maintain my own vehicles, I did not have the time for this project. Jason is the real deal. I will definitely use his shop again and will recommend to friends and family.”

“This restaurant is amazing for an occasional night, have a good vibe and you see everyone happy working there, looks very clean and organized, we had to call 30 minutes before to make a reservation of a table, and we arrived right on time, didn't wait a minute, so if you are going, make sure to call before so you dont have to wait there. The food was amazing! Was one of the best meat I've ever tried, the sides was very tasty too. Price was good, the only bad comment that I would say was about the waiting time to be served, it took like 40min, but it was worth to wait.”
