Johnson's Kitchen

I'm not a connoisseur of food. However, I am very, very selective and picky with what I eat. I must say I was kind of iffy about going to this restaurant. I hadn't heard of it before and I wasn't very sure about it. However, what I was interested in was a southern meal that kind of stood out from your regular meal that someone may cook at home. So, when I ran across from a random search of restaurants the Johnson's Kitchen restaurant my son and I hopped in the car and decided to give it a try. The inside of the restaurant was warm clean actually surprisingly well/comfortably designed with a homey feel. Now, I must say like me my son I am very picky. He's 12. When he first bit in his food he exclaimed. And to me that's to say a lot. I was immediately comfortable with the idea of eating the food because I knew from that the food was probably pretty good. And everything I bit into was absolutely delicious. The portions were definitely great.The one thing I love about a great meal is not only does it look very good, it actually tastes just as good as good as it looks! Needless to say, we've ( my son and I) already talked about how satisfied 😌 we were with our meals expressing how much we needed to go back! Anyway for you people looking for a good restaurant to go to I thought I'd let you know. Good luck and happy eating!

10/10 on flavor on these honey garlic wings. & that homemade ranch baybeeee 😮‍💨 While the flavor is amazing the staff are kind. Them prices are definitely too high. I made sure to come on a we’d got their 20% off. 17.87 for 6 wings with fries. Regardless of, I will be coming back.

This food was so amazing I had to come right here and yell it from the mountain! The flavor is delectable, everything is fresh, and the chefs are incredibly talented! The entire staff was sweet and beyond helpful. Honestly, I wish we lived locally so we could just eat here weekly, if not more. Wow! You won't be disappointed, that's for sure! I'm excited that we have leftovers so I can enjoy this on another day!

Edit: Increasing to an overall five star. Since the inital review below i have been back a few times touring the menu. T's quesadilla, the crawfish rolls, the crawfish bread, shrimp, a hamburger, and the holy wings. You can't go wrong with any selection from Johnsons. (First review:) First time stopping by recently. We all had variations of the cajun pasta I believe it was. I don't remember the exact name on the menu - but it was excellent. In particular the alfredo sauce was very rich and thick and coated everything nicely and was flavorful as well. The shrimp were hot and crispy, and my friend said the chicken in his was just right as well. Service was friendly, food didn't take too long. If I were forced to nit pick I'd really just say I'd like to have see the salad bowls and other finished odd and ends be taken away to keep the table from getting crowded (everything was left until the end) - but regardless it was a positive experience and we'll be back again to try other items. We recently dined at Johnson's Kitchen on our way back from New Orleans, and it was an exceptional experience. The staff was truly fantastic, ensuring our every need was met. The food was prepared to order, and they were generous with their portions. The homemade burger, cooked to perfection, was a standout. The atmosphere was just right, making it an ideal stop for a quick and satisfying meal right off the highway. A definite five-star dining experience!
