Santa Fe Cattle Company

I got chicken flautas which is on starter menu and ice cream cake. I haven’t eat Santa Fe in couple of years as it is my favorite restaurant as we don’t have one where we lived now and I’m so glad to stop here and eat for lunch and also order extra to bring it home and it didn’t disappoint me one bit. Everything was awesome even waitress! Can’t wait to come back through again!

We had our first Visit to the Santa Fe Cattle Company on a weekend in June, 2023. We were seated quickly even though they were pretty busy. That was because we went with a high table in the bar. But it was a good experience.
We met our server. Her name was Lydia. She was wonderful with us. She felt like family. Oh yeah, she was an excellent server too.
We had to wait a few minutes for bread. But that's because it was coming fresh out of the oven. A little cinnamon butter and a way we went. Then our dinner's came out. The wife got a pile of shrimp. So much that she had no chance of eating it all. I abandoned part of my dinner to help her with her's. I ordered a Rib Eye steak, which was excellent.
The prices at Santa Fe were definitely fair and decent. I felt our dinner was worth the price. Obviously we didn't have room for dessert. So we paid the bill and were on our way. Well not until Lydia wished us a great trip on our continuing journey.
I don't know if we'll ever get back to Hammond and the Santa Fe Cattle Company. But I wouldn't think twice about returning if in the area for some reason.

My family and I dined here on the Forth of July. We had a party of nine. They seemed to be short staffed but handled our party well. Drinks were good and so was the food. I had the steak and grilled shrimp combo and it was cooked to perfection. The bread was also amazing. Our waitress was very accommodating, specially being short staffed for the 4th. She did an excellent job. Santa Fe had a great vibe and atmosphere. Really glad we ate here before the fireworks. It was my first time ever eating there and was impressed. I will definitely be back! This place is a great place to dine for all. Very accommodating for families.

I had a hamburger and fries, and she had a ribeye and baked potato. While my hamburger was juicy and delicious, they have a problem cooking steaks. Ordered medium, and they brought out red that had only enough time to brown the outside. Some like that, but it has to be prime Supreme steak for that. These steaks were best a 2 realistically a 3. After we finally got the waitress attention, it took a good while just to get them to take the steak, she went looking for a plate to put it on. Really bad experience. This isn't the first time. I've been there at least 4 times and 3 times had an incident. Maybe a good place if staff and management were to be greatly improved. Santa fe 1star to roadhouse 5star. Do better!

Food was delicious and the service was great! The server , named K.T, made the experience amazing. Fast service, fast refills, very outgoing and energetic. She of very few seemed like she enjoys being here!
Visited this location a few months back and was very disappointed. Decided to give it a try again today while out shopping and was very pleased!!! Look forward to returning to see you again K.T.
