Car hops have always been friendly. Service is quick and food is hot. I give it 4 stars on food only because they have yet to bring back onion rings - but they are still on the menu!!! “Awesome little place hidden by the large chain seafood restaurant next door. We chose to stop here on our way back to Baton Rouge from the Whitney Plantation and are so glad we did. The staff was friendly and the food was some of the best we’ve had since we hit Louisiana. Tom ordered 1/2 Shrimp 1/2 Catfish and said the catfish is quite possibly the best he’s had. One of the girls and I ordered the shrimp and it was cooked perfectly and the breading was light and crispy. The other child had the shrimp pasta that was tasty and filling.”

“Great way to spend an afternoon. This museum was super cute and well designed, a perfect place to bring young children. The staff was super friendly and helpful, one of them even gave us an unofficial tour. They have fossils, preserved animals, various rocks and crystals, and lots of displays with info explaining what you see. There are quite a few objects that you are allowed to touch. There is a scavenger hunt for the kids and a play area where they can dig. Totally worth the $8 ticket to get out of the cold and see some interesting things.”
