“Marty the Fire Chief and his entire group are awesome! We were leaving the campground at Sullivan Canal pulling a Honda Fit behind our motorhome. The car was not properly placed in the neutral position causing the auto to catch fire. A couple spotted the fire and we pulled to the side. They threesome jumped out she called the fire department and he began un hooking the Honda and pushing back from the motorhome. Mart6y and his group arrived after another department was there as well. The bike, and positions that were not damaged they removed from the gutted auto. Mike then towed the Honda to the fire station. I can only say that I am very humbled by all of the kindness that has been shown to us in the portion of Louisiana. You can count on these folks and they are professional and without a doubt the leadership is outstanding. Thank you.”
